Using only those base charges and Shopify third-party transaction rates, the model's fee-only crossover points are about US$4,000/month from Basic to Grow, US$83,500 from Grow to Advanced, and US$475,250 from Advanced to the published Plus starting-price floor.
Important exclusions
This is not a full store-profit calculator. It excludes the external payment processor's own fees, tax, currency conversion, apps, themes, development, POS costs, marketplace-sync fees and any negotiated or location-specific terms not represented in this frozen snapshot.
The Plus figure is a published starting price, so the modeled Plus total is a lower-bound reference rather than a quote. If your payment setup does not incur Shopify's third-party transaction fee, do not use that fee in your decision.
Feature constraints matter
The model treats Basic as a solo-operator reference, Grow as up to five staff accounts, Advanced as up to fifteen, and Plus as the tier for the modeled unlimited-staff case. Live third-party shipping requires Advanced or Plus in this snapshot; fully customizable checkout requires Plus.
